Welcome 😁. Not even close to jumanji 2 the rock should have never played a grandpa, the new characters slowed them game down. It was funny like the first one but a tad corny and boring. The first one was funnier. Having seen the previous one which of course is a must in order to understand what's going on, I found the follow up above to be thoroughly entertaining. I saw this in IMax 2D therefore the big screen and sound gave it extra appeal. I'm not a Rock fan but I thought his performance along with the storyline of the characters very good and made me laugh on several occasions. It's a bit of fun with good effects and twists in the tale. I left the cinema in good spirits which in my opinion is one of reasons of going to the movies, that is being entertained.

Unlike the previous movie, Jumanji: The Next Level is firmly set up for a sequel with its credits scene. And that would be Jumanji 4, given its continuity with the original Jumanji, but you'd be forgiven for thinking of it as the third of the modern era (as filmmaker Jake Kasdan himself calls it). Here's everything we know so far about Jumanji 4, or 3, depending on how you're counting. Jumanji 4 release date: When can we expect it? Welcome to the Jungle and The Next Level both received December releases two years apart (December 20, 2017 and December 13, 2019, respectively). It wouldn't be a stretch to assume that a fourth Jumanji would aim for a December 2021 release. "We're just starting to talk about all of that, and the truth is we've barely started [on the film], " Kasdan explained. "We were just getting into the conversation before this global calamity and we will re-engage it as soon as everybody's settled. We all love working together and we've loved making these. " So December 2021 might be too ambitious for a release, but we'll hope for the best until it's confirmed otherwise. Jumanji 4 cast: Who's coming back? A big part of the success of the new movies has been Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart and Jack Black, so we'd be amazed if they weren't back as their in-game Jumanji characters. The end of The Next Level (more on that in a bit) means that they might not play as large of a role, but it's hard to picture a sequel without them. They'll be joined by Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman, Ser'Darius Blain and Morgan Turner as the unlucky players, and they could be joined again by Danny DeVito as Spencer's (Wolff) grandfather Eddie. Danny Glover could also return as Eddie's friend Milo, but at the end of The Next Level, he chooses to stay in the game as Cyclone the horse. Other likely returns include Nick Jonas and Awkwafina as the other Jumanji avatars Jefferson 'Seaplane' McDonough and Ming Fleetfoot, respectively, as well as Colin Hanks as Alex Vreeke. Sony Pictures Could we also see Bebe Neuwirth again as Nora Shepherd? She reprised her role from the original movie for a fun scene at the end of The Next Level, so we hope she's back for another game. Jumanji 4 plot: How does The Next Level ending set it up? So, going back to the ending of The Next Level, the sequel ends with the Jumanji game world coming into the real world, like it did in the original 1995 movie. That means it's likely a follow-up will see Spencer and co attempt to solve the problem, and we imagine the solution will lie in them going back into the Jumanji game world to allow for the return of Dr Smolder Bravestone and the other explorers. This is pure speculation at the moment though and director Jake Kasdan told Digital Spy that he hasn't planned out a follow-up yet. "Not much beyond what you can see there [in the credits scene], " he explained when asked if he has the sequel plotted out. "You know, there's hope that if this one is received in such a way, that we're having that conversation. " Jumanji 4 trailer: When will it land? It'll be a while yet of course, since the movie hasn't even started filming. Lol i'm so dead. The movie wasgood. There are a few changes that I would have made that made that I feel would have added a bit more humour at the start and kept the prep for the end the same just with a more satisfying way to get there.
The changes would be to have Fridge and Martha swap characters from the beginning and then swap at the pool once. I didnt particularly like the way both swaps happened within a minute. This I fell would have given a more satisfying path on how every character gets assigned to the correct body before the end.
Also as funny as I thought the old guys were not understanding they were in a game, I think it was dragged out a bit too much.
The movie doesn't entirely hinge on the viewer needing to see welcome to the jungle to understand what is happening but rewards people who have seen it.
I would see it again.
